Two Major Tornadoes Occurred Yesterday

The storm that produced the tornadoes in Granbury and Cleburne, Texas, produced four separate tornadoes. The tornado that hit Granbury was an EF4, and the Cleburne tornado was rated EF3. The information from all survey locations are still coming in, all ratings remain preliminary for now, and more information will be posted here later. Here is what they have on the two major tornadoes so far:

FATALITIES:             6
INJURIES:               DOZENS

SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE OCCURRED WITH THIS TORNADO INCLUDING HOMES WIPED
CLEAR OFF THE FOUNDATION. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WILL BE PROVIDED
ON THIS TORNADO AFTER SURVEY CREWS RETURN.

.TORNADO #8 - CLEBURNE/JOHNSON COUNTY...

RATING:                 EF-3
ESTIMATED PEAK WIND:    140 MPH
PATH LENGTH /STATUTE/:  8.5 MILES
PATH WIDTH /MAXIMUM/:   1060 YARDS

SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE OCCURRED WITH THIS TORNADO. ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION WILL BE PROVIDED ON THIS TORNADO AFTER SURVEY CREWS
RETURN.
