Emergency Situation in Moore, OK

You probably saw the tornado emergency post earlier for Moore and South Oklahoma City. Unfortunately, that tornado did stay on the ground, and went right through Moore. The tornado at one point may have been two miles wide. Two elementary schools in Moore took direct hits, and at least 75 people were trapped at Plaza Towers Elementary, and 30 have been pulled out alive. KWTV is reporting multiple fatalities. KFOR is calling this "possibly the worst tornado in history" and called it "May 3rd, 1999 all over again". I'll let you be the judge of whether or not it was the worst ever.

Please stay out of the Moore area. If you live near Moore or south OKC and can use your Twitter account, use #OKHaves if you have something to assist with, or #OKNeeds if you are in need of something.

Mike Morgan of KFOR said that he's never seen anything this bad, and he was working there during the May 3rd tornado. I'll post more info on how to donate to help the disaster area soon. NWS Norman have given this tornado a very preliminary EF4 rating, but likely will be upgraded to an EF5 once the weather calms down and NWS Norman can send a full survey team through the Moore area.
