Tornadoes Confirmed

Here's the general idea: some of the storm survey teams are still out, but here's what I can confirm in terms of tornadoes from yesterday:

1. This:

(JAN/BMX)Was determined to be have confirmed as an EF3 tornado in Kemper and Noxubee counties, MS, and caused EF1 damage in Pickens county, AL. Top winds of 145mph, total path length of 68.4 miles, most of that in Mississippi, and 3/4 mile wide, causing 1 fatality and 5 injuries. That would be the third major (EF3-EF5) tornado of the season. (Adairsville, GA EF3, Hattiesburg, MS EF4)

(HUN) 2. Two tornadoes were confirmed in the southern part of Huntsville, AL. No injuries have been reported, and both caused EF1 damage.

(BMX) 3. An EF2 tornado touched down in Notasulga, AL, west of Auburn. Two other tornadoes, both EF1, touched down in Winston county, near Addison and Smith Lake.

(FFC) 4. An EF1 tornado touched down in parts of Lumpkin and Hall counties in Georgia.
