SPC maintains the moderate risk over southeastern Kansas and much of Oklahoma for today, highlighted a 15% "significant hatched" area for tornadoes. The hatched area means there is a 10% or greater chance of EF2-EF5 tornadoes within 25 miles of a point.
Hail is also expected to be a major factor, as the SPC highlights a 45% "significant" hatched area, meaning that there is a 10% or greater chance of 2"+ diameter hail within 25 miles of a point.
