1245 AM CDT WED JUL 24 2013 THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A * SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST ARKANSAS EASTERN OKLAHOMA * EFFECTIVE THIS WEDNESDAY MORNING FROM 1245 AM UNTIL 600 AM CDT. * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE... SEVERAL DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE SEVERAL LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE
These storms have a history of producing 76mph winds at Tulsa International Airport, and damage at the airport. I have not had a refreshed radar image from the Tulsa NEXRAD since about midnight, which leads me to believe maybe the radar has sustained damage and gone down. For alternate images, use the Tulsa Airport Tower Radar, Norman, or Fort Smith radar.
